1st DAY: After your pick up from your Athens central hotel depart through Theves, Levadia (short stop) and Arachova for Delphi to visit the impressive archaeological site. Famous for its theater, Temple of Apollo and ancient ruins, Delphi was considered the center of the earth and the universe, and played a central role in the classical Greek world. Continue to Delphi museum and marvel at it's spectacular exhibits including the frieze of the Treasury of the Sifnians, the Naxian Sphinx, the Statue of Antinoos, the metopes of the Athenian treasury and the famous bronze Charioteer. Overnight stay in Delphi.
2nd DAY: The next morning is at your leisure to relax or to visit the beautiful town of Delphi. In the afternoon meet your guide and return to Athens passing by the picturesque mountain village of Arachova, built on the south slopes of Parnassus, well known for its attractive hand-woven carpets, rugs and quilts, as well as for its wine and cheese (short photo stop). Arrive back to Athens late in the afternoon.
