Early morning drive to Canakkale through the European lands of Turkey. Drive to Gallipoli, historically famous for being the site of many battles - particularly involving the Allied Forces including Australians and New Zealanders during World War I. The World War I battlefields of Gallipoli are now a serene site. Visit the Lone Pine Australian Memorial and Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial, ANZAC Cove, Brighton Beach, Beach Cemetery, Ari Burnu Cemetery, Johnston's Jolly (where you'll visit original Allied and Turkish trenches and tunnels).

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Troy, the legendary city of Homer’s Iliad. The first excavations were made by German archaeologist Heinrich Schliemann in 1871 revealing that Troy was not only a myth. See the excavations showing several layers of this civilization, and the replica of the infamous Trojan Horse.
Return to Istanbul for overnight.
